Sachin Tendulkar is the highest run-getter in South Africa with 1,161 runs. In 15 matches and 28 innings, Tendulkar has the highest score of 169, with an average of 46.44. He has slammed five centuries and three half-centuries.

Second on the list is Rahul Dravid. The former India captain has scored 624 runs in 11 matches and 22 innings. With an average of 29.71, Dravid has the highest score of 148. While he has slammed one century and a couple of half-centuries, Dravid has a strike rate of 37.63.

With 566 runs from 10 matches, V. V. S. Laxman is third on the list. He has the highest score of 96, with four half-centuries. Laxman holds an average of 40.42.

The former India captain, Sourav Ganguly, stands fourthwith 506 runs from 8 games and 16 innings. With a highest score of 73, Ganguly maintains an average of 36.14. Though he has four half-centuries in his kitty, Ganguly hasn't scored a ton in the Proteas land.

Fifth on the list is Virender Sehwag. The former India opener has piled up 382 runs in 8 matches, with an average of 25.46. With a century and a fifty in his kitty, Sehwag maintains a strike rate of 67.85.
