Seamers Shardul Thakur and Navdeep Saini will join the Indian team here on Saturday to bowl at the nets ahead of the third Test at the pacey Wanderers from January 24.

Thakur will stay back for the ODI series that follows the Tests. And Dinesh Karthik, added to the squad for the final Test, will reach here on Friday morning. He will then feature in the ODI series.

Before the first Test started, Team India had turned to its domestic talent for net sessions. Ankit Rajpoot (Uttar Pradesh), Avesh Khan (Madhya Pradesh) and Basil Thampi (Kerala) had bowled to Virat Kohli and his boys at the open nets.
