India captain Virat Kohli notched up his 35th ton against South Africa on Friday, in the process becoming the highest run-scorer in a bilateral ODI series in South Africa. He went past former England batsman Kevin Pietersen, who had amassed 454 runs in 2005.
Kohli also took least number of innings (200) to reach 9500 ODI runs. He's followed by AB de Villiers (215) Sourav Ganguly (246) Sachin Tendulkar (247) M.S. Dhoni (256)
Earlier, Kohli took his 100th catch in ODI cricket. He became the sixth Indian to reach the landmark.
