India vice-captain Rohit Sharma on Sunday became the batsman with the most sixes in T20I international against the West Indies at Lauderhill in Florida.

Rohit surpassed West Indies opener Chris Gayle with his 106th maximum. Rohit was four behind Gayle's mark of 105 before the start of this match. Martin Guptill (103), Colin Munro (92) and Brendon McCullum (91) complete the top five.

Rohit reached the landmark in the 11th over when he slammed Sunil Narine for his second six in the match.

Rohit is already the highest six-hitter for India in ODI cricket with 232. The flamboyant right-hander was in scintillating form with the bat in the recently concluded World Cup 2019, where he was the highest run-scorer with 648 runs from 10 matches including a record-breaking five hundreds.
