Indian Blind team felicitated for World Cup triumph

The Union Sports Minister, Vijay Goel, felicitated the Indian team that won the Blind T20 World Cup in Bengaluru recently, with a cash purse of Rs.10 lakh in New Delhi on Monday.

The Union Sports Minister, Vijay Goel, felicitated the Indian team that won the Blind T20 World Cup in Bengaluru recently, with a cash purse of Rs.10 lakh in New Delhi on Monday.

The Sports Minister commended the performance of the Indian team that had won the title for the second time and also recalled the four medals won by India in Paralympics last year.

Assuring all support for the blind and differently abled athletes, the Minister said that the ministry would consider the option of recognising the Blind Cricket Federation.
