Riding on an impressive performance by Yashasvi Jaiswal (218 off 233b, 25x4, 4x6), Abhimanyu Vashishtha (eight for 30) and Arjun Tendulkar (four for 36), Mumbai was on the brink of enforcing an innings win against Railways in the Cooch Behar Trophy (Under-19) inter-state cricket tournament.
After being bowled out for 389 on the opening day at the Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana, Vashishtha's eight-wicket haul skittled Railways for 150. Following on, the Railways batsmen failed to tackle Tendulkar's left-arm pace in the second innings to end the day at 124 for seven, still 115 runs adrift to make Mumbai bat again.
