Honorary CAB membership for Jhulan

The Indian speedster will be the first woman cricketer to get the CAB honorary membership.

In recognition of her contribution that helped the Indian team play the women’s World Cup final, pacer Jhulan Goswami will be given honorary life membership of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).

CAB president Sourav Ganguly announced this following the association’s working committee meeting here on Thursday. “At the CAB annual awards event on August 8, Jhulan will be felicitated and given a memento for her achievement. She will also be given the CAB membership,” said Ganguly.

Jhulan will be the first woman cricketer to get the CAB honorary membership.
