Justice Sen summons Bhaskar, Gambhir over Hazare controversy

Gautam Gambhir got into an ugly confrontation with coach K. P. Bhaskar.

The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Administrator Justice Vikramajit Sen has summoned coach K. P. Bhaskar and manager Shankar Saini to hear their version of the episode involving an abusive verbal tirade by Gautam Gambhir in the dressing room.

At the end of the Vijay Hazare cricket tournament match against Uttar Pradesh at the KIIT ground in Bhubaneswar recently, Gambhir had humiliated Bhaskar in the dressing room .

Following an uproar where veterans like Bishan Singh Bedi, Ravi Shastri and Delhi selector Atul Wassan called for a disciplinary action against Gambhir , the DDCA Administrator has decided to speak to them.

Bhaskar, a former Delhi captain and a respected coach with many BCCI assignments to his credit, has maintained a silence on the issue even as Gambhir chose to go public. Bhaskar and Saini have reportedly submitted their reports to Justice Sen.
