India cruises to a win over Malaysia

The Indian under-23 team posted a seven-wicket victory over Malaysia to register its second win in four-team Group B of the the Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup in Chittagong on Tuesday.

The Indian under-23 team posted a seven-wicket victory over Malaysia to register its second win in four-team Group B of the the Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Cup here on Tuesday.

Put into to bat, Malaysia mustered 163 for nine in its allotted 50 overs with Syed Aziz scoring 53. The Indian team knocked off the runs in 30.1 overs riding on Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 51 and Abhimanyu Easwaran’s 42.

India takes on Afghanistan in its final group match here on Thursday.
