Chennai Super Kings, which made a victorious return to the Indian Premier League with a win over Mumbai Indians, returned to its base on Sunday.

The cricket fans in Chennai, who have missed out on IPL action for the past two years, are expected to create a frenzy at the Chepauk Stadium when CSK takes on Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday for its home match of the season.

The returning heroes received a warm welcome at the Chennai international airport. In the IPL opener in Mumbai, requiring 47 off the last three overs, Dwayne Bravo and Kedar Jadhav pulled off an unlikely win for CSK with a wicket and a ball to spare.
