The season 11 of IPL starts from April 4 to May 27.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday has invited applications from parties for the following Indian Premier League (IPL) rights -- Official Partner, Strategic Time Out Partner, Umpire Partner.

In a statement, BCCI states that no more than one third party will be granted rights in relation to each product category. The board intends and will not be obliged to appoint up to a maximum of six Official Partners, one Strategic Timeout Partner and one Umpire Partner.

The grant of the Rights shall be conditional upon the relevant third party entering into a binding agreement with BCCI, and the form of which will be sent by the board to any relevant third party.

The BCCI has also clarified that the board shall not be obliged to award the Rights to the third party which indicates willingness to pay the highest fees in the course of discussions/negotiations after submitting its interest.

The season 11 of IPL starts from April 4 to May 27, which will also see the return of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals after serving two years of suspension.
