New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme replaced Andre Russell, who is has been handed a one-year ban for violating anti-doping whereabouts regulations, in the Kolkata Knight Riders’ squad on Monday for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

De Grandhomme has played six Tests, nine One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and eight T20 Internationals for New Zealand so far. The all-rounder made his Test debut in late 2016 against Pakistan where he registered a six-wicket haul in the first innings of the match.
Kolkata Knight Riders will travel to Rajkot where it begins its IPL 2017 campaign at the SCA Stadium against Gujarat Lions on April 7.
