Centro, South India’s largest footwear retail and franchising company, has been announced as the official sponsor of the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.
The pact was signed by Centro director Sridhar Ganesh, in the presence of some big names of the Sunrisers team. A renowned brand in the Southern belt of the country, it is the first time Centro footwear has become the official partner of a cricket team.
“Enthusiasm and excitement are the vibes that are floating at Centro as we take pride in being the official sponsor for a prestigious team like Sunrisers Hyderabad in the most coveted cricket season in India. With 27 stores in the name of Centro, we are looking to go national soon. Looking for a nation-wide reach, we felt IPL is the right platform to take our reach nationally and India as a currently loves Cricket and the mileage and viewership for the sport is high during this time,” said Ganesh.
