IPL 2018: Five CSK players who've donned the Pune jersey

As the Chennai Super Kings shifts base to Pune, we take a look at the five players who've previously played for the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant.

Chennai Super Kings captain M.S. Dhoni led the Rising Pune Supergiant in the 2016 edition of the IPL. In the two years he spent playing for Pune, the wicket-keeper batsman scored 574 runs in 30 matches at a strike-rate of 124.78.

Faf Du Plessis was with the Pune franchise between 2016 and 2017. The South African skipper, in his eight matches, made 214 runs at a strike-rate of 126.62.

The South African leg-spinner represented Pune in 16 matches, snapping up 23 wickets at an economy rate of 8.04.

Deepak Chahar, the right-arm seamer, featured in 12 games for the Supergiant and claimed 11 wickets at an economy rate of 8.25.

Shardul Thakur, yet another right-arm fast bowler, played five games for just one wicket at an economy rate of 9.58.
