Defending Indian Premier League champion Chennai Super Kings' domestic players attended an official training camp at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium on Thursday.
Suresh Raina, N. Jagadeesan, K. M. Asif and Karn Sharma hit the straps in the course of an intense net session. Raina and Jagadeesan took throwdowns from local net bowlers, including Tamil Nadu left-arm spinner R. Sai Kishore.
The players had a gym session earlier on Wednesday.The official camp will begin on March 16, according to a franchisee source.
Chennai Super Kings will begin its title defence at home on March 23 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
