Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard smashed 45 runs in the final two overs of the innings as Mumbai Indians put up 170 on the board.

Surya Kumar Yadav anchored the Mumbai innings with a 43-ball 59 among tumbling wickets.

Krunal Pandya made sure Mumbai got the runs in the middle overs with a well-paced innings of 42 off 32 balls.

Kieron Pollard blinder ended Suresh Raina's stay at the crease as he flew backwards to catch the ball and then cartwheeled to hold on.

M.S. Dhoni was unable to rebuild the innings as he was caught by Surya Kumar Yadav off Hardik Pandya's 15th over.

After a blitzkrieg with the bat in the final over, Hardik Pandya returned with the ball to remove M.S. Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja in the same over to rattle CSK's chase.

Kedhar Jadhav was the lone warrior for CSK with a 54-ball 58. However, he was unable to prevent the inevitable as the visitor succumbed to its first defeat of the season by 37 runs.
