Former New Zealand wicket-keeper batsman Brendon Mccullum went to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for Rs. 3.6 crore. McCullum had earlier played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) and Gujarat Lions in the previous editions.
McCullum has 2753 runs from 103 IPL games at a strike-rate of 131.22, including 13 half-centuries and two hundreds. McCullum, who played for KKR in 2008, had led RCB's rout with a record-breaking 158 from a mere 73 deliveries. It was, at the time, the highest score in a Twenty20 match.
