IPL Eliminator Starwars: Bhuvneshwar Kumar v Chris Lynn

It has been a tournament to remember for the in-form bowler from Sunrisers Hyderabad and the fiery batsman from Kolkata Knight Riders, and they would like to emulate it one more time in the do-or-die tie.

It’s ideally a clash of the equals. But then, when Sunrisers Hyderabad takes on Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) eliminator on Wednesday, the focus will be on an in-form bowler and a fiery batsman.

It has been a tournament to remember for both of them, and they would like to emulate it one more time in the do-or-die tie. While Kumar remains the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, Queenslander Lynn has returned from an injury break with a bang. His fiery knocks could well make all the difference at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where he and Sunil Narine went on a rampage a week and a half ago.

That memory is still fresh, and Lynn would be hoping to make it count one more time. But with Kumar spearheading the bowling attack for Sunrisers, the team from Kolkata will have a mountain to climb!
