Delhi Capitals notched up a 33-run win against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.

Brilliant from DC. After a rather disappointing outing with the bat, DC's bowlers came to the party and made the total look a lot more than it really was. Nortje was once again brilliant. So were Rabada and Avesh Khan. Ashwin was miserly too. For Rajasthan, Sanju Samson was the lone warrior with the bat, remaining unbeaten on 70 off 53 balls. He did not have support from his teammates. That would be all from this game. Time to move to Sharjah, where Punjab will take on Hyderabad. Hyderabad have won the toss and elected to field. You can follow the action here-

Avesh Khan to wrap up the innings. 11 off the final over and DC win.

Rabada to bowl out. What a shot. Samson, looking to go leg side, sees the line of the ball and laps it over short third for four. Brilliant. Rabada, meanwhile, mixing up pace and length. Dhawan has dropped Samson! That was a sitter. Mere formalities remain, really. This has been an excellent riposte from DC after struggling with the bat earlier in the day. Rajasthan Royals need 45 runs in 6 balls.

Nortje strikes! Tewatia holes out. The pressure takes a toll. Royals need 56 runs in 16 balls with four wickets in hand. Too little, too late for a Samson special? Just two off that Nortje over. 4-018-2 for Nortje. Excellent figures. Royals need 54 runs in 12 balls.

Fifty up for Samson off 39 balls. Been a brilliant innings so far. Can he crank up the pace now? The asking rate has gone over 16 now. Eight from that Avesh Khan over. RR 99/5 in 17 Overs. Rajasthan Royals need 56 runs in 18 balls.

Another good over for Royals. Nine off this Patel over. Samson executed the the reverse sweep to perfection and got it over short third for four. RR 91/5 in 16 Overs.

-TIME OUT-

Rabada is back. It's almost like Samson is batting on a different pitch... plays a deft shot to fine leg for four, just flick of the wrists. Another great shot for four - Samson slaps this one down the ground for four. He follows it up with another boundary to make it 14 off the over. Rajasthan Royals need 73 runs in 30 balls. Samson is batting on 41 off 34 balls. He needs support from the other end though.

Rajasthan Royals need 87 runs in 36 balls.

Samson collects seven off Nortje's first three, including a four. Nine comes off the over in the end. RR 68/5 in 14 Overs.

Smart thinking from Pant. Left-hander on strike and he turns to Ashwin for his final over. Three runs off his last over. Ashwin: 4-0-20-1. RR 59/5 in 13 Overs.

Royals need 106 runs in 54 balls. Patel continues. Samson picks up the quicker delivery, opens the face of the bat and guides it to third-man for four. More of those for RR! Gone! Patel clean bowls Parag. Rahul Tewatia joins Samson. RR 56/5 in 12 Overs .

Rabada is back and he strikes straightaway! Lomror holes out! Royals need 107 runs in 58 balls. This is getting out of hand. It's now or never for RR - Samson needs to step up. Riyan Parag joins his skipper. A slip in place. Excellent over from Rabada. 11 gone. Just one off it. RR 49/4 in 11 Overs.

Axar resumes the proceedings. The batsmen deal in singles. Lomror cuts one sharp, only for a single. Samson reverse sweeps but finds short third man for a single. Lomror retains strike. Tight from Axar as only five come off it. RR 48/3 in 10 Overs.

-TIME OUT-

SIX! Lomror goes down the track and clubs it down long-on for a maximum off Ashwin. Two singles follow. Lomror runs one down extra cover for a single to end the over. RR 43/3 in 9 Overs .

Axar to carry the spin baton from Ashwin. Lomror takes a single off the first. Axar strays down the leg for a wide. Samson runs one before Lomror cuts one well, but just gets 1. RR ends with two singles as the required rate climbs to over 10. RR 34/3 in 8 Overs .

Ashwin continues. Samson reverse sweeps for a four after two dots. The skipper and Lomror take two comfortable singles as Ashwin ends the over with a dot. RR 27/3 in 7 overs.

Rabada to bowl the final over of the Powerplay. Good start from Rabada. Just two off it in the end. RR 21/3 in 6 Overs.

Ashwin in the Powerplay. Gets Miller stumped straightaway ! DC roaring back into this contest. Lomror is in next. Another left-hander. Two runs and a wicket from that over.  Ashwin now has 250 wickets in all T20 cricket. RR 19/3 in 5 Overs.

Samson has been given out caught behind off Nortje. He reviews. Samson survives. Replays confirm the ball clipped his left shoulder, without any bat involved. Just two from that Nortje over. RR 17/2 in 4 Overs.

Avesh bowling over the stumps to Miller. Miller takes a single off the second ball. Samson retains strike with a single off the last ball. Four ones off it in the end. RR 15/2 in 3 Overs.

GONE! Anrich Nortje gets Jaiswal caught behind first ball! Not given at first but DC review and the replays confirm an edge. Worst possible start for RR. In comes David Miller. Two slips for him. Samson and Miller are both off the mark comfortably. A 3 for Miller to end the over. RR 11/2 in 2 Overs. Royals need 144 runs in 108 balls.

Livingstone off the mark with a single. Jaiswal opens his account with a brace. Good running between the wickets as they add 3 more to the total. GONE ! Livingstone is out caught behind! Great start for DC. RR 6/1 in 1 Over.

The run chase will begin shortly. Out come the Delhi boys. Jaiswal and Livingstone to open. Livingstone to take strike. Avesh Khan takes the new ball.

- RUN CHASE -

Delhi have a very good bowling attack. So, one would imagine they have just enough runs to challenge Rajasthan. RR, on the other hand, will be pleased with their effort. They will be the happier of the two teams walking into the break. Sakariya and Mustafizur picked up two wickets each. Shreyas Iyer top-scored for DC with 43. Rajasthan need 155 to win. Back with the chase soon.

- END OF INNINGS -

The Fizz to bowl the last over. Concedes a single first ball. Ashwin on strike. The batsmen cross for a quick single. Another single... RR won't mind this. 3 off the first 3 balls. Ashwin will collect a couple off the fourth to bring up the team 150. Haha comedy of errors ... batsmen pick up two when there should have been a run-out! Ashwin gets a couple more to wrap up the innings. Nine off it. The Fizz: 4-0-33-2.

SIX ! Patel has launched this over long-on for six. Expensive start to the over for Sakariya. GONE Sakariya gets his revenge as Patel holes out. RR continue to chip away. Very good comeback from Sakariya after that first-ball six. DC 145/6 in 19 Overs.

Tyagi continues. Patel collects a couple. A single next ball gets Yadav on strike. Two wides, two singles and a four from Yadav to end the over. DC 135/5 in 18 Overs. Tyagi today: 4-0-40-1.

Fizz back into the attack. Yadav does his job, takes a single and gets Hetmyer back on strike. Superb delivery from Mustafizur... inch-perfect yorker. GONE! Hetmyer departs next ball. Axar Patel is in next. Four runs and a wicket from that over. DC 124/5 in 17 Overs.

Tyagi is back. 1 leg bye to DC first ball. Tyagi bowls a wide next ball. SHOT ! Hetmyer again - a boundary to deep backward point. Tyagi bowls this one wide and pays the price. Another four, Hetmyer turning it on. And another boundary for Hetmyer to end the over. DC getting a move on. 16 from that over. DC 120/4 in 16 Overs.

Sakariya is back into the attack. Hetmyer clobbers a wide ball over cover for four. Hetmyer has an almighty heave at the next ball but change of pace from Sakariya means Hetmyer misses it altogether. Next ball, he hammers it towards long-on for four. Couple of singles to finish the over. 12 from it. DC 104/4 in 15 Overs.

Second time-out!

Stumping referral. Iyer the man in question. Gone. Brilliant from Samson. Another set batsman departs. Tewatia drew Iyer forward by tossing it up, the ball was a touch wide, Iyer looked to go after it, missed and Samson did the rest. Lalit Yadav is the new man in. Excellent from Tewatia. Just two off the over. DC 92/4 in 14 Overs.

Shamsi to bowl out. Hetmyer pushes it towards cover for a single. Dot ball and a single to Iyer. Hetmyer heaves one away but just for a single. Iyer gets a couple. That Pant wicket came at the right time for RR. Iyer and Pant were just beginning to look ominous. A single to end the over. Just two dots in that spell from Shamsi: 4-0-34-0. DC 90/3 in 13 Overs.

Mustafizur is back into the attack. He is driven for a single by Pant. Iyer takes a single. Pant follows it up with a brace. GONE ! Huge wicket. Pant departs. He chopped this one on. Back of a length ball does the trick. Change in bowling does the trick. Good captaincy. Shimron Hetmyer is the new man in. Five runs and a wicket from that over. DC 84/3 in 12 Overs.

Shamsi to continue. Pant cuts and cuts hard but only for a single. The Delhi batters starting to take their chances now. Iyer, meanwhile, gets a couple. Shot, beautiful from Iyer. Makes room and hits over extra for a 78-m six. Iyer follows it up with a couple. Another expensive over. Pant ends it with a single. 13 came off it. DC 79/2 in 11 Overs.

Tewatia resumes proceedings after the break. There is an appeal for lbw vs Pant. Turned down. They don't take a review. Looked like the ball pitched outside off. Pant gets a single next ball. SIX! Pant Iyer has hammered that over the bowler's head for six. 10 off the over. DC 66/2 in 10 Overs.

- TIME OUT -

Shamsi continues. Iyer collects a couple before getting Pant back on strike with a single. Pant sweeps one to fine leg for four! Much-needed boundary for DC. A dot to end the over. Nine came off it. DC 56/2 in 9 Overs.

More spin for Delhi batters to contend with. Tewatia from over the wicket. Boundaries have dried up but both batsmen keep the scorecard ticking with ones and twos. Excellent start for the Royals. Five singles and a dot. Last ball, Miller saved at least a run there by flinging himself to his right and stopping the ball. DC 47/2 in 8 Overs.

Shamsi into the attack.  Decent first over. Six singles. DC 42/2 in 7 Overs.

FOUR! Tyagi errs in line, goes wide and Iyer cuts it away for four. A short delivery on the leg stump and Pant swivels and pulls it away to fine leg for four. Trademark Pant! Last ball of the Powerplay, Pant takes a quick single. DC 36/2 in 6 Overs.

GONE! RR making inroads already. Shaw perishes, Sakariya with a wicket. Rishabh Pant joins Iyer. Pant shimmies down the track first ball and gets a single. Iyer rotates strike with a single next ball. Sakariya resorting to the slower balls in this over. Both dealing in singles this over. These two need to rebuild. Really well bowled by Sakariya. Four singles and a wicket. DC 25/2 in 5 Overs.

GONE ! Kartik Tyagi with the breakthrough. Dhawan has chopped on. Tyagi strikes with his first ball but you've got to feel for Dhawan here. Unlucky disimissal. Dhawan walked back with a wry smile. Iyer is the new man. Great first over from Tyagi thus far. Iyer drives but doesn't time it well. Just a couple. Three runs from it. DC 21/1 in 4 Overs.

Sakariya into the attack now. Starts with a slow ball. Dhawan gets a single. Sakariya mixing up his pace nicely in his first over. Shaw plays out two dots before crunching a drive for a couple. He follows that up with a pull shot for couple more. And another brace to end the over. DC 18/0 in 3 Overs.

Spin from the other end. Mahipal Lomror into the attack. Dhawan cuts it to deep backward point for four. A couple of dots follow before Dhawan gets a single to long-on. A couple of dots to end the over. DC 11/0 in 2 Overs.

Mustafizur with the new ball. Shaw takes strike. He is off the mark with a single. No slip in place for Shaw but slip comes in for Dhawan, who opens his account with an easy single. Good start from Fizz.. Both batters dealing in singles. A brace to end the over. DC 6/0 in 1 Over.

Dhawan and Shaw will open for Delhi. Dhawan is the orange cap holder this season so far. Out come the umpires. Samson egging on his troops. We are all set.
