Yuzvendra Chahal picked two wickets off two balls to thwart Hyderabad's run chase.

Kudos to RCB. Death bowling has been their Achilles Geel but not tonight thanks to Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal, who applied the choke on SRH with probing spells of pace and spin bowling respectively. It was a walk in the park till Bairstow was out there but once he was cleaned up by Chahal, SRH lost wickets in a heap and never quite recovered. From 89/2 and 121/3, they were bowled out for 153. First points for RCB. That will be all from our side. Good night.

Dale Steyn [3.0-0-26-0] to bowl the final over. 18 off 6 needed. A single off the first ball for Natarajan. 17 off 5. Sharma collects a couple off the next. 15 off 4. Sharma throws his bat at this one and gets four for it. 11 off 3. OUT! Sharma holes out to Virat Kohli. That's game, set and match. What a turnaround.

Mitchell Marsh, right handed bat, comes to the crease. He has Sandeep Sharma for company. Saini 4-0-25-2.  Dube bowling the 19th. This has been a proper collapse from Hyderabad. They have got themselves in a tangle after that brilliant start. Marsh perishes. He is in pain, a lot of pain. Hyderabad nine down. T Natarajan, left handed bat, comes to the crease. Four from the over. SRH 146/9 after 19 Overs.

Rashid Khan looks fine. He will continue batting. Navdeep Saini [3.0-0-18-0] is back into the attack. Bhuvneshwar Kumar comes to the middle. Saini concedes five wides. Good start for SRH. Meanwhile, Marsh is padded up. Good signs for Hyderabad. Saini, you beauty. Cleans up Bhuvi, who is beaten for pace. Another one bites the dust - Rashid Khan is clean bowled. Pace , pace and more pace. Seven runs and two wickets from that over. SRH 142/8 after 18 Overs.

So, what do Abhishek and Priyam have up their sleeves. This is big pressure fpr the young duo. How do they respond? Shivam Dube is bowling the 17th. GONE! Priyam Garg's inexperience costs him his wicket .. he is out bowled for 12. RCB , slowly but steadily, working their way to the top here. Rashid Khan, right handed bat, comes to the crease. He opens his account with a boundary. Intent straightaway. Jesus. Harakiri out there. Abhishek and Rashid run into each other... Rashid is on the floor... he is in pain, Abhishek is run out. RCB are on top. SRH 135/6 after 17 Overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad needs 29 runs in 18 balls

Bowled'em! Bairstow isn't fourth time lucky as Chahal cleans him up - huge moment in this match. Bairstow departs for 61. GONE! Two in two. Vijay Shankar is clean bowled first ball! Chahal is on a hat-trick. RCB fighting back! Abhishek Sharma safely negotiates the hat-trick ball. What an over. Abhishek Sharma using the long handle... collects four. Chahal: 4-0-18-3. SRH 127/4 after 16 Overs.

Dale Steyn [2.0-0-13-0] is back into the attack. Third man is up in the circle, Steyn offers pace and slight width and Jonny guides that one to third-man for four. Hyderabad doing this nice and easy at the moment. Third life for Jonny! This time, it's Padikkal who spills a chance and a tough one at that. Nothing going RCB's way as Garg joins the fun - clobbers this Steyn delivery to deep mid-wicket for four.  A dot to end the over. 13 from it - SRH 121/2 after 15 Overs.

Second life for Bairstow! That went miles in the air, miles in the air and Steyn never quite had a chance... he was nowhere near it.. but that will go down as a drop. Umesh will be ruing his luck. Bairstow gets two from that squandered catch. He gets to his fifty, does Bairstow with six off the next two balls including a cracking boundary.  Sunrisers Hyderabad needs 61 runs in 38 balls... Bairstow ends the over with a flourishing drive for four. Full delivery from Umesh and duly punished. SRH 108/2 after 14 Overs.

Priyam Garg is the new man in. Shivam Dube has been introduced into the attack. Garg gets off the mark with a couple. A dot ball later, Garg collects 2 leg byes. Garg trying to get going... walks down the track to Dube, who keeps him quiet. A brilliant over. Just five off it. SRH 94/2 after 13 Overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad need 70 runs in 42 balls. Bairstow the key here.

Yuzi into his third. Four byes and that will be frustrating for Chahal and RCB. Kohli reviews. Pandey is the man in question and they have reviewed for a caught behind. Looked like a good shout at first, but the replays show flat line. Pandey survives. GONE! Chahal is rewarded for a probing spell -Pandey holes out! Six runs and a wicket from it in the end. SRH 89/2 after 12 Overs.

Navdeep Saini [2.0-0-13-0] is back into the attack. Can he break through this pair? Saini starts well with a gem of a yorker, which Pandey digs out to mid-wicket for a single. Dropped! Bairstow drills a drive straight to Finch, who lets the ball burst through his fingers. That went to him at the speed of light... Saini applauding Finchy's effort. End of a good over. Five runs off it. SRH 83/1 after 11 Overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad needs 81 runs in 54 balls

Yuzi having a chat with Kohli and AB. He will resume proceedings after the first Time Out. Chahal's up against two right-handers, so with the ball spinning away from these two, Kohli will be banking on Chahal for a breakthrough because Hyderabad is in the box seat at the moment. Six off it in the end. Both Jonny and Pandey happy to take ones and twos off Chahal. SRH 78/1 after 10 Overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad needs 86 runs in 60 balls

Umesh Yadav [2.0-0-22-0] is back into the attack. Can he make amends for an expensive first spell? Bairstow guides one to backward point for a single. Pandey mows one down to long on, just a one. Bairstow, now, tries to go for a big hit and misses. WHOA! Take that, says Bairstow, as he uses Umesh's pace and lifts this over fine-leg for six. Bairstow brings up the 50-run stand with a boundary next ball. Another expensive over - 13 off it. SRH 72/1 after 9 Overs.

Yuzvendra Chahal, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack. A dot to start his spell. Follows it up with a peach - grip and turn - Pandey is flummoxed. He is such a wily spinner, Chahal. Jonny and Pandey will be wary of the threat he poses. Bairstow plays the paddle sweep for a couple. A single to end the over - just four off it. Good over for RCB and Chahal. SRH 59/1 after 8 Overs.

Washington Sundar, right-arm off break, comes into the attack. Starts with a dot. My word. Pandey launches it over long-on for six - he had all the room to throw the kitchen sink at it and throw he did. Good comeback from the TN youngster. Just one off the next five. SRH 55/1 after 7 Overs.

Saini to continue. He is dishing out a slew of really quick balls, everything north of 140 so far except the first ball. The express pace is what's making Jonny and Pandey a little circumspect, reckons Sunny G on air. Saini has been spot on with his line and length so far. SHOT! Bairstow punishes this marginally short ball from Saini - hits it to deep square leg for four. A single to end the over - eight from it. SRH 48/1 after 6 Overs.

Back-to-back boundaries for Manish; through the mid-wicket and behind square regions. He just had to time the ball as Umesh continues to stray on the leg side. Umesh does well to close out the over conceding just two runs from the final 4 deliveries. SRH 40/1 after 5 Overs.

Navdeep Saini, right-arm fast, comes into the attack. Manish collects a single off the first ball... towards deep backward point. Saini cranking up the pace here - one of India's promising quick bowlers, Saini. The second ball was bowled at 145 kmph! Good over so far - only singles off it. Jonny manages a couple off the last ball- fiuve from it. SRH 30/1 after 4 Overs.

Steyn to continue. A slip in place for Manish. Two dots to start the third over. Steyn drifts onto the leg-side a little and Pandey flicks it for a couple to get off the mark. Pandey's turn to play his shots - flicks it over mid-on for four. He takes a single off the last ball, keeps strike. Seven from the over. SRH 25/1 after 3 Overs.

Umesh to share the new ball duties. He raps Bairstow on the pads first ball - but that one's going down leg. A slip in place for Jonny. Umesh, meanwhbile, loses his radar and bowls a wide. Make that two wides in as many deliveries, struggling with his line, is Umesh. Jonny flicks the next ball for four - poor bowling from the India international. The Englishman follows it up with a maximum - whips the length ball over backward square-leg for six. GONE! What an unfortunate way to get out - Jonny plays a straight drive, Umesh just about manages to get his hand to the ball, which crashes into the stumps and finds Warner short of the crease. Manish Pandey in at 3. 12 runs and a wicket from it. SRH 18/0 after 2 Overs.

Welcome back. Bairstow and Warner march out to the middle. Dale Steyn to bowl the first over. Warner will take strike. A slip in place. Warner shoulders arms. A dot to start the proceedings. Warner is off the mark with a sumptuous cover drive - tremendous power and timing from the Aussie. He follows it up with a brace. Good comeback from Steyn. Three dots off the last three balls. SRH 6/0 after 1 Over.

==========================

Very good finish from SRH after that late assault from AB de Villiers. Devdutt Padikkal got RCB off to a flying start with his maiden IPL fifty but once he and Finch fell off successive balls, SRH clawed its way back into the match. ABD lent some much-needed impetus at the death but a brilliant final over from Bhuvi restricted RCB to 163/4. Hyderabad needs 164 to win.

========================

FOUR! AB welcomes Bhuvi with a straight hit for four. AB gets to his 50 with a brace. Whaadaaplayaah! ABD tries to steal another two but is found short of his crease while completing the second run - he is run out for 51.  Josh Philippe, right handed bat, comes to the crease. Eight runs off the final over, Dube is run out of the last ball. Bangalore finishes on 163/4.

Sandeep Sharma [3.0-0-22-0] is back into the attack. So, Bhuvi will bowl the final over. Dube takes a single, ABD on strike now. Super bowling from Sharma, outsmarts ABD with a slower ball. Dot. SIX! No. 200 for RCB as ABD creams this one over deep extra-cover for six. What a strike. Make that 201 as the next ball sails over square of the wicket for another six. 14 from that over. RCB 155/3 after 19 Overs.

Natarajan to bowl out. Starts with a perfect yorker to Dube, who digs it out for a single. SHOT! Stand and deliver from AB as he mows this one down the ground for four. That was right in the slot for the South African! Brilliant bowling from the 29-year-old. SRH's death bowling prowess coming to the fore. Nine from it with two overs remaining. RCB 141/3 after 18 Overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar [2.0-0-9-0] is back into the attack. All eyes on ABD now. He is on 199 sixes for RCB. That was close, nearly played on there, did AB. Terrific stuff from Bhuvi. AB finally finds a boundary - targets the cow corner and gets four. Massive props to Warner - despite being a bowler short, he has managed to hold back Bhuvi for overs 17 and 19. Eight from that over. RCB 132/3 after 17 Overs.

T Natarajan is back into the attack. Another single for AB. But Warner wouldn't mind the ones and twos, would he? Kohli now - pulls it but kept down to a single. SHOT! First signs of aggression from AB- width, pace on offer and AB launches it over cover for four. GONE! Virat perishes trying to up the ante. He holes out to Rashid... Natarajan gets the breakthrough with the slower one. HUGE WICKET! Shivam Dube joins ABD. Eight runs and a wicket. RCB 124/3 after 16 Overs.

Rashid Khan to bowl out. AB and Virat putting on an exhibition of running between the wickets. Another thing these two and the two before them have done is they haven't given Rashid a wicket. Eight runs from that over. RCB's last boundary came off the third ball of the 10th over. How long before these two break free? RCB 116/2 after 15 Overs.

Sandeep Sharma [2.0-0-16-0] is back into the attack. Both Virat and AB are playing some really handsome looking strokes for singles here. So much class out there in the middle. One advantage for RCB is that AB can explode at will - when does he switch his gears? Not this over - six fro this Sharma over. RCB 108/2 after 14 Overs.

Rashid Khan [2.0-0-16-0] is back into the attack. AB takes a single first ball. Kohli times the next one perfectly, but has to settle for a single. These two enjoy batting together and their running between the wickets is absolutely fabulous. Seven runs off that over. Bangalore goes past 100. RCB 102/2 after 13 Overs.

GONE! Another wicket. So two off two for SRH. Abhishek Sharma traps Finch in front.  So you get rid of Finch and who do you see walking out ? AB. De Villiers joins Virat Kohli in the middle. Five runs and a wicket from that over. RCB 95/2 after 12 Overs.

Vijay Shankar is back into the attack. Padikkal goes for the full monty - plenty of hang time on that ball, two fielders converge on the ball, both don't catch it! Padikkal collects two off the first ball.... then hares to the other end for a single. Finch knows he can't use up too many balls, especially when the youngster at the other end is going great guns. He will have to be the second fiddle to Padikkal for the time being. GONE! Jinxed him. Shankar has the last laugh - cleans up Padikkal. He departs for 56.

Abhishek Sharma, Left arm orthodox, comes into the attack. Padikkal collects a couple off the first two balls. Smart cricket from Padikkal. The outfields here are massive - enough opportunities to find the gaps and convert the ones into twos. FIFTY! That's the maiden half-century for Padikkal - sweeps this one to backward square-leg for four. Rashid Khan misjudged the catch there... but take nothing away from Padikkal. Fine innings.  11 from that over. RCB 86/0 after 10 Overs.

Whoa. Padikkal tries the reverse sweep against Rashid - well, well the youngster isn't going to hold back against Rashid, is he? Finch, on the other end, is struggling to get going really. Two dots in a row from Rashid, but he goes short this time and Finch just hammers that pull shot and collects four for it. Now, now - make that 10 off 2. The Aussie skipper gets down on one knee and slog-sweeps this for six. 11 off it. RCB 75/0 after 9 Overs.

T Natarajan [1.0-0-12-0] is back into the attack. Finch has been relatively quiet so far, save that maximum off a free hit from Vijay Shankar. Padikkal, on the other hand, hasn't held back - he has made quite a statement thus far with some attractive strokeplay. The Karnataka lad is nearing his first IPL fifty. Good over from Natarajan so far. Only five from that one. RCB 64/0 after 8 Overs.

Rashid Khan comes into the attack. The leggie has been SRH's trump card over the last couple of seasons. A slip in place for Finch. Will be interesting to see whether Padikkal curbs his attacking instincts against Rashid or goes after the opposition's most potent wicket-taking option. Both batsmen happy with singles for now - six of those from that over. RCB 59/0 after 7 Overs.

Sandeep Sharma [1.0-0-11-0] is back into the attack. Finch is off for a single. Padikkal on strike. The southpaw collects a brace. Sharma responds with a perfect yorker. Padikkal digs it out - no run taken. Five runs from the over. RCB 53/0 after 6 Overs. Powerplay honours to RCB. Hands down.

Mitchell Marsh has been brought into the attack. He will have a crack at his Aussie skipper Aaron Finch. Finch takes a single and gets off strike. Oh my, Mitch is hobbling! Seems like he has sprained his ankle on the follow through. The Aussie all-rounder in need of medical attention. Mitch is fine. Here we go again. Padikkal, you beauty - hammers this straight down the ground for another boundary. Mitch is struggling... all sorts of pain. Marsh is going off. Big blow for Hyderabad . Vijay Shankar to finish the over. He bowls a no-ball. That's a free hit. Bad start. Finch cashes in - humongous six. Hang on, that was another no-ball. Another free hit. Finch holes out but that's not out. Now, Vijay bowls a wide. A never-ending over this. A nine ball over. 16 from it. RCB 48/0 after 5 Overs.

Shaun Marsh hurt his ankle on the follow through.

T Natarajan, left-arm fast medium, comes into the attack. A slip in place for Padikkal. What a shot. Padikkal swivels and pulls it over backward square leg for four. This guy can bat! Beautiful, clean striking. Just launches the next ball over covers for his second successive four. Make that three in one over - this time he targets the deep mid-wicket fence. SRH leaking runs in the Powerplay.12 from the over. RCB 32/0 after 4 Overs.

Padikkal looks to swing across the line and misses as the ball keeps low. Similar line outside off but Padikkal moves to the back foot and reaches low to cut it through the covers for a four. Bhuvneshwar bowls it straight and the southpaw clips it square on the leg side for a single. Short and wide allows Finch to chance his arms and cut it behind for a couple. RCB 20/0 after 3 Overs.

Sandeep Sharma to share the new ball. Padikkal shimmies down the track clubs it over mid-wicket for four. Another cracking drive but this time he hits it straight to Warner. No run. Sharma strays on the pads and Padikkal just helps it to fine-leg for four. Oh! Padikkal goes for a drive, the outside edge flies through an empty cordon for four. Expensive over. 11 off it. RCB 13/0 after 2 Overs .

Finch and Padikkal open for RCB. Bhuvneshwar Kumar with the new ball. A little bit of movement first up, but barely any carry and pace for Bhuvi. Padikkal shoulders arms. Two slips for the southpaw. Padikkal gets off the mark with a single. One slip in place for Finch. Bhuvi targets him with an inswinger straightaway. No harm done. RCB 2/0 after 1 Over.
