RCB vs DC Highlights IPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bengaluru thrashes Delhi Capitals by 40 runs for 5th consecutive win

Yash Dayal wraps it up by castling Kuldeep. RCB beats DC by 47 runs to move to fifth in the points table. 

Ferguson gets the ninth. Short from him and Mukesh can only poke it to the fielder in the ring.

Second over of the day for Green. The pressure continues to mount on DC. Just three runs from the first five balls. Green cramps Axar. The ball drops near the stumps as Stubbs charge for a quick single. Axar say no, but not early enough as Green rifles down the stump in a flash.

Ferguson with the ball now for RCB. Hope squeezes in a double to start the over. Couple of singles follow. DC in dire need of a big over as the required run rate continues to climb. 

Leg spin now for RCB in the form of Karn Sharma. Couple of singles to start the over with. Axar tries to go on the aggressive by stepping out. No timing on the elevated shot. Just a single there. Short now from Karn. Axar pulls it off the back foot. FOUR!!

Axar gets his first boundary of the day. Width from Siraj and cut away by the DC skipper for a four. A misfield from Swapnil Singh allows DC to add another couple of runs. Full from Siraj and Axar swing at it. Four past mid off fielder. 

Over-pitched from Yash Dayal and Hope brings out a flowing cover drive. FOUR!!! On the pads now from Dayal. Clipped away for a four by Hope. He isn’t done yet. Full again, cover drive again. Four again. 

Siraj gets his second over in the PowerPlay. Hope tips one to the leg side to add a single. Kushagra on strike now. Siraj pitches one on good length outside the off stick and jags it in. Plumb in front. GONE!!!
