Kolkata Knight Riders brought the famed Royal Challengers Bangalore line-up to its knees, and bowled it out for just 49 runs — the lowest ever IPL total.

It was Nathan Coulter-Nile, who did the bulk of the damage, accounting for captain Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Kedar Jadhav. He bowled fast with intent, and made maximum use of the pacer-friendly pitch. He was ably supported by Chris Woakes, Umesh Yadav and Colin de Grandhomme but it was Coulter-Nile who started the show for KKR. This will give the team confidence that it can rely on its bowlers for winning games.
