TOSS UPDATE: Kolkata Knight Riders chooses to bowl.

Two changes for Knight Riders: Nitish Rana returns, Rinku Singh makes way for him; Prasidh Krishna replaces Shivam Mavi.

No change for Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians (XI): Rohit Sharma (c), Suryakumar Yadav, Evin Lewis, Ishan Kishan (wk), JP Duminy, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Ben Cutting, Mitchell McClenaghan, Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah.

Kolkata Knight Riders (XI): Dinesh Karthik (c, wk), Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Robin Uthappa, Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Piyush Chawla, Mitchell Johnson, Prasidh Krishna, Kuldeep Yadav.

Despite a poor run, the season isn't yet over for defending champion Mumbai Indians, as has been pointed out by its captain Rohit Sharma. However, with only three wins out of nine matches, the team desperately needs a late surge in the group stages to make the playoffs. Its opponent on Sunday, Kolkata Knight Riders, would hope to avoid a late slip-up as placed third in the points table, it is a favourite to make it through.
