Rahane fined for Royals’ slow over-rate

Rajasthan Royals captain Ajinkya Rahane has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate during its Indian Premier League (IPL) fixture against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

Rajasthan Royals' Ajinkya Rahane has been fined Rs 12 lakh.

Rajasthan Royals captain Ajinkya Rahane has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate during its Indian Premier League (IPL) fixture against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

“As it was his team’s first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Rahane was fined Rs 12 lakh,” the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a release.
