It is not everyday that cricketers get to spend time with one of the finest ad gurus of the country. But for the Rajasthan Royals players, Sunday turned out to be a fun afternoon as Piyush Pandey conducted a motivational session with them.
In a friendly environment at the team hotel in Jaipur, Pandey shared how he has implemented learning from his life into his career. “You have made it here because of your performance. This is a great team with a great captain like Ajinkya Rahane and a legendary mentor like Shane Warne. Make the most of your time learning from them,” Pandey, also a recipient of the Padma Shri Award, told the players.

Rahane too attended the session.
With Rajasthan Royals returning to the Indian Premier League (IPL) fold after two years, Pandey spoke to the players about the importance of comebacks. “Comebacks are tough but challenging. All we need to do is prepare well. It’s the same what we do in our jobs of advertising. If we don’t prepare well, we wouldn't be able to deliver the right product. Teamwork is crucial. Its like if any department fails, the final product will eventually fail.”
In the hour-long session, Pandey also shared a few of his campaigns with the players.
With the cash-rich league set to begin next week, Royals is leaving no stone unturned to keep the young band of boys motivated.
