Shreyas Iyer and Dwayne Bravo are two players capable of making a difference to the final equation.

Delhi Daredevils secured a thumping 55-run win against Kolkata Knight Riders in its last match, thanks largely to Shreyas Iyer's unbeaten 40-ball 93, which helped it post 219 batting first. Captaining an IPL franchise for the first time, Iyer was inspirational as a leader too, cleverly juggling his bowling resources to tie the big-hitting KKR batsmen down and use the scoreboard pressure to his team's advantage.

Come Monday, Iyer has to replicate his exemplary performance from Friday with the bat and as captain with his team finding itself in a crunch situation.

Iyer's battle with Chennai Super Kings' death-overs specialist, Dwayne Bravo, could be match-defining. Iyer's timing of acceleration was perfect against Knight Riders, but in Pune, against CSK, he must contend with a bowling attack with a better quality at the death and Bravo, in particular.

Bravo's bowling form has picked up in the last three matches, in which he has picked up four wickets. The West Indian all-rounder hasn't been at his best yet with the ball, but he continues to be M. S. Dhoni's go-to man for the death overs, to stifle the opposition.

Delhi, whether it chases a score or bats first, needs a good start. But even if it does, the second half of the innings will still be vital to its chances of winning the match. Which is where Iyer's duel with Bravo could have a bearing on the match.
