A lot of bowlers are terrified of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batting line-up. But in the 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), it has been the bowlers who have shone. Although RCB has been unable to collect many points, Yuzvendra Chahal has again impressed with the ball. With a total of 11 wickets from 10 matches and an economy rate of 7.66, Chahal has been the pick of the RCB bowlers. In the previous encounter against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) he was not successful as he picked just one wicket at an economy of 8.28, but he will be hoping to turn the tables and get his team a much needed win.

The surprise element for KXIP this season has been Hashim Amla’s ability to smash runs in the shortest format of the game and give his team a quick start. The South African has a total of 315 runs from eight matches at a strike rate of 140.00. The top-order batsman scored his maiden T20 century this season, with an impressive 104 off 60 balls at a strike rate of 177.33 against Mumbai Indians. In the last encounter against RCB, he scored 58 off 38 balls to help his side win the game. He has been a consistent performer this season and will hope to continue his form and seal a berth for his team in the play-offs.
