Trent Boult will be hoping to get the better off his trans-Tasmanian rival.

The fast bowler from New Zealand hasn’t had a great outing in the Indian Premier League so far. But then, things could change when he takes on his Australian rival at the Eden Gardens on Saturday afternoon.

The Kiwi in question—Trent Boult—would be hoping to come all guns blazing against the fiery Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner, when Kolkata Knight Riders plays its second home game of the season.

While Boult has so far taken only one wicket and has been quite pricy, Warner has piled up 139 runs in three innings-getting off to a rather decent start. Though these are still early days in the tournament, both Boult and Warner will have to ensure that contribute big time for their team. On a relaid Eden Gardens wicket, which is favouring the batsman, it might be a challenging task for Boult to strike back, but then he showed in the last game that he could still be a difficult bowler to handle, and he would be hoping for some support from his fielders.

So, as the City of Joy celebrates the first day of Bengali New Year, gear up for a lip-smacking fight between the Trans-Tasman rivals.
