Shane Watson, on Sunday, became the second batsman in the history of IPL to score a century in the final. The Chennai Super Kings batsman picked up his century in 51 deliveries against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai.

Earlier, only Wriddhiman Saha had the record of scoring a century in an IPL final. In 2014, Saha played a knock of 115 for Kings XI Punjab against Kolkata Knight Riders, but his side lost the game.

In 2011, Murali Vijay had scored 95, while Manvinder Singh Bisla hammered 89 in 2012 to help KKR win its first title.

This, interestingly, was Watson's second century of the season, and his fourth overall.
