Delhi Daredevils' regular captain Zaheer Khan will miss the Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday. In his absence Karun Nair will lead the team against SRH.
Zaheer suffered a hamstring starin during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders last Friday.
“He will be monitored as we go along. Karun Nair will continue to be the stand in captain for tomorrow's game,” said DD's spokesperson.
Zaheer has picked up seven wickets from seven matches.
Delhi Daredevils, who is at the bottom of the table, has registered only two wins from its eight matches. On Sunday, DD was bowled out for 67 by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).
