Mohammad Irfan produced the most economical spell in Twenty20 history by conceding just one run from four overs in the Caribbean Premier League.

However, though Irfan returned sensational figures of 4-3-1-2, his efforts came in a losing cause as his Barbados Tridents suffered a six-wicket defeat to St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

Irfan started the innings by getting Chris Gayle to edge behind first ball and after Evin Lewis was dismissed in similar fashion, the only run that was scored via the bat from his four overs was a single from the very last delivery the Pakistan seamer bowled.

At that point the Patriots were 18-2 after seven overs, but they managed to reach their victory target of 148 with seven balls to spare.
