Jhulan Goswami achieved a landmark, which no other woman cricketer had achieved before. She became the first woman bowler to claim 200 wickets in One-Day Internationals.
The veteran pace bowler achieved the feat in the second one-dayer against South Africa, being played at Kimberley. Opener Laura Wolvaardt was Goswami's 200th victim after South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first.
In the list for most wickets in ODIs, Cathryn Fitzpatrick (Aus) is placed second with 180 wickets, followed by Lisa Sthalekar (Aus) with 146 scalps. At fourth is Anisha Mohammed of the West Indies with 145 wickets and at fifth India's Neetu David with 141.
Interestingly, Kapil Dev was the first male cricketer to pick 200 ODI wickets.
