Kohli and Co. receive ‘words of gold’ from Vivian Richards

Skipper Virat Kohli says he received “words of gold” from West Indies batting legend Sir Vivian Richards who visited the Indian team hotel ahead of the first cricket Test here.

“What a memorable moment. With the greatest ever, Sir @vivrichards56. Words of gold from him. #Grateful #Memorable,” Kohli, who has often been praised by Richards for his attacking batting, wrote on his twitter handle.

The 62-year-old Richards happily obliged as the Indian cricketers clicked selfies.

Enjoyed having little discussion with Great Sir viv richards!!! Still feeling so happy!!??????,” Dhawan said on the social networking site.

K. L. Rahul tweeted, “Major fan boy moment ?? Sir viv was kind enough to give us some advice. #blessed #bossman what a legend. ??”

The BCCI too posted pictures of the meeting.

The two warm-up matches against West Indies Board Presidents’ XI ended in draws.
