M. S. K. Prasad, the chairman of the BCCI senior selection committee, was felicitated by M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice-President of India, in Delhi on Saturday.

“The honourable Vice-President was very proud of the way we have been handling our job. He congratulated us on being honest and sincere,” Prasad said in a statement. “Mr. Naidu also wished Team India best of luck for all its future assignments,” he said.

'Great experience'

“Personally, it was a great experience and honour for me to be with the Vice-President who is also an avid follower of sports given the way he was discussing and enquiring about various subjects related to sports,” Mr. Prasad said.
