Sri Lanka will be without skipper Angelo Mathews for the T20I double header against Bangladesh.

Angelo Mathews will miss Sri Lanka's Twenty20 internationals against Bangladesh with a right hamstring problem.

The captain sustained the injury during the recent tri-nation series in Bangladesh, missing four of his country's five matches in the competition, including the final which was won by Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka are due to face the Tigers in two T20Is on February 15 and 18, following the conclusion of their two-match Test series against the same opponents, the opening instalment of which was drawn.

Mathews' involvement in March's Nidahas Trophy T20I tri-nation series involving Bangladesh and India will be determined by further assessments of his injury.
