Moeen Ali has committed to England's tour of Bangladesh amid concerns over security in the country.

The England and Wales Cricket Board has opted to allow the matches to go ahead, despite a terrorist attack in July sparking fears over the safety of players and staff.

Some cricketers could yet withdraw from the trip, but spinning all-rounder Moeen has followed Jonny Bairstow in publicly announcing his availability.

"If selected I'll definitely go, throughout the winter," he told the media ahead of England's final one-day international against Pakistan in Cardiff on Sunday.

"I'm pretty happy with everything and really looking forward to it. I'll definitely go."

Moeen is eagerly anticipating the challenge of playing three one-day internationals and two Tests on turning wickets in Mirpur and Chittagong, ahead of England's longer tour of India, which runs from November to January.

"I've been a few times, five or six times," he said of Bangladesh.

"The wickets are different there. The conditions are very different. I'm going to have to adapt with my bowling. Hopefully when I get out there I'll adapt pretty quick. I'm very happy to go."

Of the safety fears that have prompted considerable debate among the England squad, Moeen added: "It's really tough, even for myself. Everyone's different. Everyone has their own views on things.

"As a team we back each other's decisions. It's up to the individual. There's no pressure. It's up to the person and how he feels."

England can seal a 5-0 series triumph over Pakistan with victory at Sophia Gardens this weekend, something Moeen feels is a fitting tribute to the quality of the 50-over side under head coach Trevor Bayliss.

"It feels different to other series'," he said.

"We've got a great chance to get this whitewash, it would be a massive achievement. It just shows how good this side is."

Pakistan's tour concludes with a Twenty20 international at Old Trafford on Wednesday, with England's first ODI in Bangladesh due to take place at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on October 7.
