Two life members of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA), Dr.Liladhar Paliwal and Rakesh Bhargava, have approached the Indore bench of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh praying for the appointment of a Committee of Administrators (CoA) in order to implement the Justice Lodha Committee reforms in a time bound manner.

The two petitioners have cited the appointment of CoAs at the Hyderabad Cricket Association, Mumbai Cricket Association, Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association and DDCA. The petition has named 14 Committee of Management members, including Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sanjay Jagdale, Narendra Menon, who stand disqualified because of a Supreme Court order on the count of crossing the age cap of 70 years and completing nine years in office.

The petitioners have also asked the court to initiate contempt proceedings against a large group of Committee of Management members for disobeying an earlier order of the same court. The petitioners have named the MPCA, BCCI and all members of the Committee of Management as respondents.
