Injured medium-pacer Ashish Nehra will undergo a knee surgery in London, according to a statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today.
The 37-year-old pacer was asked to consult Andrew Williams, an orthopaedic specialist in London. Williams advised surgery on his right knee, which will take place shortly.
Nehra, who sustained a high-grade tendon injury against Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League, was not part of India's limited overs squad to Zimbabwe.
