Even after they were granted visas to India for the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting, there were speculations on whether Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief, Dr. Najam Sethi and chief executive, Subhan Ahmed, will be able to attend the high-profile meeting in Kolkata.
But putting all speculations to rest, Sethi had reached Kolkata late on Sunday evening after '19 hours of travel', along with Ahmed, well in time for the meeting.
"We have just reached here after a long travel," Sethi told Sportstar from Kolkata.
It is also learnt that the security has been beefed up in the hotel where the PCB officials are staying.
"This is a high-profile meeting and we don't want any kind of disturbances. So, we have ensured that everything is taken care of," one of the sources in the local organising team, told this publication.
The women's committee meeting began on Sunday, and will continue till Thursday.
