Pakistan has won its two-match one-day international series with Ireland 1-0 after the second game was washed out.

Persistent rain at Malahide forced the umpires to abandon the match without a ball being bowled.

The tourist won the first ODI by a mammoth 255 runs, but did not have a chance to complete the whitewash as it prepares for a five-match ODI series with England, which starts on Wednesday.

Sharjeel Khan was named as player of the series for his 152 from 86 balls in the first ODI.
