Rajkot and Visakhapatnam will host Test matches for the first time when India plays a five-Test series against England starting November 9.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced the schedule for the England tour, including five Tests, three ODIS and as many T20 Internationals from November to February.
There won't be any day-night Tests as all the five-day games are slated to start at 9:30 a.m.
England is expected to go back home for Christmas before returning for the limited overs leg of the tour.
The ODI series begins in Pune on January 15, followed by games at Cuttack and Kolkata on January 19 and 22 respectively.
England has been unbeaten in its last two Test series against India.
