Kagiso Rabada has been fined for waving Shikhar Dhawan off the field in South Africa's 73-run ODI defeat to India.
The Proteas bowler mockingly gestured for India opener Dhawan to leave the crease when he was dismissed following a return of 34 runs from 23 balls on Tuesday.
And the umpires at Port Elizabeth have punished Rabada - who admitted the offence - for his behaviour under article 2.1.7, which relates to "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batsman upon his/her dismissal during an international match".
The 22-year-old has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee and handed a demerit point - his fifth, following previous incidents against Sri Lanka and England.
Having already served a suspension after his fourth demerit point, Rabada would be handed another ban if he were to reach eight.
India hold a 4-1 lead over South Africa in the six-match ODI series.
