    Prithvi Shaw’s 134 has catapulted Mumbai to an easy 61-run win over Assam. Aman Khan, Tanush Kotian and Shams Mulani bagged two wickets each for Mumbai. A convincing all-round performance from Shaw’s team.

    Prithvi Shaw’s 61-ball 134 has propelled Mumbai to 230 for 3 against Assam. Yashasvi Jaiswal made 42 off 30 balls. Riyan Parag was the only Assam bowler who went for less than seven runs an over.

    Prithvi Shaw slams ton vs Assam

    Mumbai opener Prithvi Shaw has put on a brutal exhibition of power-hitting against Assam. His 46-ball 100 has put the domestic powerhouse in a dominant position. He has hit 11 fours and six sixes so far. In white-ball cricket, especially in T20s, Shaw’s prowess has been evident. Although he did not make the India squad for the recent home ODIs against South Africa, Shaw has continued to score heavily in the domestic circuit. In all T20s since 2020, for which ball-by-ball data is available, the Delhi Capitals opener has scored 1275 in 47 innings at a strike-rate of 152.14 with 11 fifties.

    Karnataka vs Meghalaya

    Karnataka comes into this match on the back of a crushing win. Devdutt Padikkal struck an unbeaten 62-ball 124 (14x4, 6x6) to power Karnataka to a 99-run victory against Maharashtra. Manish Pandey made 50 off 38 balls (1x4, 4x6) and added 148 for the second wicket.

    Maharashtra never really threatened to overtake Karnataka’s total. It was reduced to 34 for six in the ninth over. Divyang Hinganekar top-scored with 47, after coming in at No. 8.

    Seamer Vidhwath Kaverappa, on his debut, took three wickets while Vyshak Vijaykumar claimed two.
