The Indian cricket team made it a point to celebrate Mahendra Singh Dhoni's 37th birthday in England. After the team returned to the hotel after its second T20 against England, the players made sure Dhoni cut the cake. In presence of wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva, Dhoni was in a jovial mood. India captain, Virat Kohli, and his wife, Anushka Sharma too were present for the occassion.

The team-mates also posted pictures from the gathering and also wished Dhoni on social media. A video was posted on social media, which showed Dhoni blowing candles and cutting the cake with players from the Indian squad singing the birthday song. Later, his team-mates smearing cake on his face.

'Papa, you are getting older '

Dhoni was also reminded that he was “getting older” through a song by his daughter Ziva. “Happy birthday papa, you are getting older,” sang Ziva to her father who continues to inspire his teammates and millions of fans.
