Afghanistan will be chasing history when it takes on Pakistan in the final of the U-19 Asia Cup final in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Led by Naveen-ul Haq, the young Afghans sank Nepal in the semifinal on Friday to make it to the final. The side had faced defeats at semifinal rounds in past three editions of the tournament. Turning the tide, the young lads will be hoping to clinch the title stunning a rather superior opponent.

Pakistan reached the final, beating Bangladesh via Duckworth-Lewis method. Munir Riaz was the pick of the Pakistani bowlers. He took three wickets, while Hasan Khan, Suleman Shafaqat and Shaheen Afridi claimed one wicket each.
