Tamil Nadu v Punjab: TN 266/4 after 46 overs: Shahrukh Khan
is moving rocks and boulders here! The youngster has shown tremendous nerve under pressure after Aparajith's dismissal. TN needs 23 runs from four overs.


Karnataka v UP: UP 214/4 after 45 overs - Rinku Singh on fire.
He is cruising UP home although it can have a funny finish. Karnataka can snap back right into this game with some quick wickets. UP needs 33 from five overs.

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: TN 243/4 after 44 overs: Shahrukh is on the move! The IPL millionaire boy is leading TN towards the win. Tamil Nadu needs 46 from six overs.

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: 222/4 after 41 overs: Aparajith falls 88! Punjab is making its way back into this game. Shahrukh Khan and B Indrajith are at the crease, hoping to take its side home.

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: TN  214/3 after 38.4 overs:  Dinesh Karthik departs for 19 but TN is well on course in the chase. Aparajith is rock solid at one end and his nearing his hundred.

 

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: Tamil Nadu  192/2 after 34.4 overs: Jagadeesan brings up a cracking 100 and is out soon after. A run-a-ball ton to place TN well in the chase. Aparajith (81*) is still at the crease and is joined by skipper Dinesh Karthik.

Karnataka v UP: UP 123/2 after 28 overs. Karnataka has crawled back with three quick wickets!  Suchith and Shreyas Gopal have picked up a wicket each as UP suddenly finds itself in a spot of trouble.

 

 


Tamil Nadu v Punjab: Tamil Nadu on the prowl.
Fantastic partnership between Jagadeesan and Aparajith have brought their fifties up in quick time. They have broken down the target to phases well and has accelerated at the right time. Punjab skipper Mandeep Singh has rotated his six bowler, however, a breakthrough seems far-fetched after some solid batting by the TN batsmen.

Karnataka v UP: Uttar Pradesh brings up its 100 in style!
Openers Abhishek Goswami and Karan Sharma have taken the chase by storm and are crumbling the defending champion Karnataka down quickly. UP 101/0 (23).

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: Tamil Nadu is in complete control here. Jagadeesan and Aparajith continue to make merry and are moving into their forties with some quick-paced batting.  Tamil Nadu  81/1 (17).

 

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: Aparajith and Jagadeesan are motoring on. Punjab's pacers have been dealt with comfortably as the batsmen have upped the scoring by a fair notch. Tamil Nadu 64/1 (13).

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: Aparajith and Jagadeesan have put TN out of the initial hiccup. Punjab poses a real good pace attack in Sandeep Sharma, Sidharth Kaul and the young Arshdeep Singh. A interesting contest is in the making. Tamil Nadu 46/1 (10).

 

Karnataka v UP: Karnataka returns the favour with a brilliant start with a ball. Yet to prize a scalp, but Mithun and Prasidh Krishna have put the UP openers rummaging for runs. UP 9/0 (5).

Baba Aparajith and Jagadeesan would hope to resurrect the TN innings and a partnership between the pair would be absolutely crucial for the chase. Tamil Nadu 19/1 (5).

Karnataka v UP: Abhishek Goswami and Karan Sharma at the crease for UP in their 247-run chase. Abhimanyu Mithun up with the ball for Karnataka.

Tamil Nadu v Punjab: Arun Karthick and N Jagadeesan open the innings for Tamil Nadu. Sandeep Sharma takes the new ball for Punjab. TN is chasing 289 runs for the win.

Jharkhand v Madhya Pradesh: Jharkhand 422/9 after 50 overs: Jharkhand shatters history to post the highest-ever total by an Indian domestic side. Ishan Kishan's manic 173 off 94 balls put Jharkhand in a staggering lead before his Mumbai Indians teammate, Anukul Roy, provided the impetus down the order with a 32-ball 72 with three fours and seven sixes!


 

 

TN v Punjab: Gurkeerat has notched up a cracking ton! Tamil Nadu's attack has been blunted by his fine knock as Punjab nears 250. Punjab 246/3 (46.3 overs).

Karnataka v UP: Uttar Pradesh is on top as Karnataka slumps further. Shivam Sharma has picked up his third wicket as Karnataka is reeling to cross 200. KAR 188/6 (45 overs)

Karnataka v UP: Karnataka has lost half its side! Uttar Pradesh
has put the defending champion in a spot.  Offie Shivam Sharma has struck twice to dismiss Shreyas Gopal and Padikkal. KAR 150/5 (39 overs)

TN v Punjab: Punjab nears 200. The Gurkeerat-Simran partnership has however been broken. Prabhsimran essayed an attacking 71 off 84 balls before Baba Aparajith provided the breakthrough for TN. Gurkeerat, however, looks set for a biggie. Punjab 179/3 (38 overs).

Karnataka v UP: Karnataka has lost Padikkal after a sluggish half-century. Karun Nair pairs up with Siddarth at the crease. Karnataka has struggled to get back on track and lost Padikkal at a crucial juncture in the game.  KAR 114/2 (31 overs)

 

TN v Punjab: Gurkeerat and Prabhsimran have put TN under pressure.  Prabhsimran is racing towards his hundred (70*) while Gurkeerat has posted his half-century. Punjab 134/2 (30 overs).

move into the 40s. The batsmen have jeopardised Karthik's plans to attack with spin to put Punjab back on the pedestal.

Karnataka v UP: Stellar recovery from Padikkal and Siddarth. The pair have taken the attack to the bowlers finally as Padikkal nears his half-century.  KAR 82/1 (25 overs)

Karnataka v UP: Padikkal and Siddarth have found a couple of boundaries to improve the scoring rate. Bhuvneshwar has brought in the spinners to produce a wicket but the batsmen are freely rotating strike at the moment.

 

TN v Punjab: Punjab has fought back. A quick partnership between Gurkeerat and Prabhsimran have put Punjab in a steady hold now. Skipper Karthik has rotated his bowlers around but the runs have come steadily with this pair at the crease.  Punjab 84/2 (22 overs).

Karnataka v UP: Padikkal and Siddarth are struggling to find the boundaries as UP has been brilliant on the field. The bowlers have cut down the runs and has forced the batsmen into a pit.  KAR 32/1 (16 overs)

 

TN v Punjab: Fifty for Punjab. It has come at a fairly slow rate but as Gurkeerat and Prabhsimran are paving a road to recovery. Punjab 50/2 after 16.3 overs

 

TN v Punjab: TN strikes again! It has sent back the Punjab skipper. Mandeep was getting into his zone after a slow start and Sai Kishore has started with a wicket maiden! Mandeep Singh c Arun Karthick b Sai Kishore 3 (23)

 

TN v Punjab: Punjab has recovered slowly from its early blow in the form of Abhishek Sharma. Prabhsimran and skipper Mandeep has steadied the ship and will eye to forge a big partnership. Punjab 30/1 (11 overs).

Karnataka v UP: Brilliant start from UP! Karnataka is struggling to find the gaps and Devdutt Padikkal and Siddarth KV have consumed a heap of dot balls. Bhuvneshwar and Mohsin have kept the runs in check and youngster Kartik Tyagi is into the attack now.  KAR 15/1 (10 overs).

TN v Punjab: OUT! TN has its first wicket.
Murugan Ashwin has given the breakthrough as he ran out the left-handed Abhishek Sharma for the first wicket. Abhishek Sharma  run out 5 (16, 1*4)


Karnataka v UP: Bhuvneshwar Kumar is back and running.
The UP skipper has given away just two runs in his first three overs as Padikkal and Samarath have found it tough against the experienced campaigner who is on a comeback trail from his long lay-off due to injury. Karnataka 8/0 after 5 overs.

TN v Punjab: Fine start for the SMAT champion. Punjab has been put on the backfoot as Sonu Yadav and M Mohammed have begun well in tandem. Punjab 12/0 after 5 overs.

TN v Punjab: Abhishek Sharma and in-form Prabhsimran Singh at the crease for Punjab. Sonu Yadav opens the attack for TN.

 

Karnataka v UP: Devdutt Padikkal and R Samarth opens the batting for Karnataka. Bhuvneshwar Kumar up with the new ball.

Defending champion Karnataka will open its campaign against Uttar Pradesh at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.  Tamil Nadu, the most successful team in the tournament with five titles, will start its season against Punjab in Indore.

The Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament turned out to be a springboard for the domestic stars to bag an IPL contract. The Vijay Hazare proves to be another chance to hit the spotlight as a fine series could lead to a probable national call-up.
