A sensational day of thrillers as Kerala and Baroda chased down the big scores in close finishes while Jharkhand edged Punjab by two runs in a low-scoring thriller. That's all for the day, folks. Join us tomorrow for Day 4's action!

 

Kerala v UP: Kerala 270/7 after 47.4 overs: OUT! Sachin Baby has fallen. An exceptional knock from the captain as he falls for 76. Kerala needs 13 to win.

Kerala v UP: Kerala 258/6 after 46.2 overs: OUT! Saxena is run out!  It is Shivam Sharma again, second run out of the day for him after scrapping Sanju Samson. Saxena falls at a crucial juncture and the pressure mounts on Sachin Baby (70*).  Kerala needs 26 runs from 22 balls.

Jharkhand v Punjab: Punjab 200/6 after 41 overs: Punjab is 18 runs away. Mandeep (68*) brings up his side's 200 and will certainly hope to seal this quick as Jharkhand is chipping away with wickets at the other end.  Oh, and right on cue, Mandeep Singh is OUT! Punjab slip to 200/7 after 41.1 overs. Shahbaz Nadeem has picked Mandeep who looked so very set to seal this for Punjab.

Kerala v UP: Kerala 250/5 after 45 overs: Bhuvneshwar goes through another unsuccessful over as Baby and Saxena look determined to close the chase and have played out the India pacer well. Kerala crosses 250 and needs 32 runs from 30 balls.

Jharkhand v Punjab: Punjab 191/5 after 38 overs: Mandeep Singh is safely taking his side home. Varun Aaron finishes his spell with another wicket but the Punjab captain has kept his end safe. Punjab needs 26 more to win.

Kerala v UP: Kerala 223/5 after 40 overs: Captain leading from the front. Sachin Baby brings up his half-century. Kerala inching towards the win as it requires 61 from the last 10 overs. Jalaj Saxena has come into give solid support for Baby.

Jharkhand v Punjab: Punjab 170/4 after 33.5 overs: OUT! Punjab loses two quick wickets. Kishan brings back the pacers Aaron and Shukla who dislodge Gurkeerat and Sanvir Singh. Punjab skipper Mandeep Singh is still on song and his steady with his half-century.

Kerala v UP: Kerala 198/5 after 33 overs: Kerala is losing its way here. Azharuddeen runs him out and Kerala loses half its side. 85 needed from 17 overs.

Kerala v UP: Kerala 195/4 after 32 overs: OUT! Youngster Vathsal Govind falls after stitching a crucial partnership with skipper Sachin Baby who moves to 40*.

 


TN v Andhra: Andhra 154/3 after 28 overs: Andhra moves past 150 as Ricky Bhui brings up his half-century. 
A matter of time before Andhra closes the chase here.

Jharkhand v Punjab: Punjab 103/2 (20.3) - Punjab crosses 100 and looks well placed in firm control of the 218-run chase. Mandeep has taken on the attack while Gurkeerat is holding one end.

TN v Andhra: Andhra 115/3 after 22.4 overs: Hebbar continues his fine knock and moves onto 62 and has found an ally in Ricky Bhui after TN jolted their side with three quick wickets.

Kerala v UP: Kerala 123/3 (18.3):  OUT! Uthappa and Samson fall in quick succession. Uthappa looked absolutely in control to get his second hundred but has holed out off Shivam Sharma. Sanju follows the opener back quickly as Shivam Sharma completes a run out. A massive blow for Kerala. An exceptional knock it was from Uthappa as he mauled the UP attack with eight boundaries and four sixes.  Uthappa c Bhuvneshwar b Shivam 81 (55), Samson run out Shivam 29 (35)


TN v Andhra: Andhra 68/3 after 15 overs: OUT! Sai Kishore sends back Vihari!
Tamil Nadu is right back in it as the left-armer wraps the captain cheaply.  Vihari c Karthik b Sai Kishore 2 (9)

Karnataka v Bihar: Bihar 28/5 after 10 overs: Abhimanyu Mithun joins Prasidh Krishna with another two-wickets as Bihar heads towards a harrowing loss.

Kerala v UP: Kerala 85/1 after 11.1 overs: Uthappa on fire! A 36-ball 50 and he is racing towards a successive hundred. Sanju Samson is happy to provide the strike to his senior partner who has looked absolutely explosive.

 

TN v Andhra: Andhra 61/2 after 13 overs: Debutant R Silambarasan has picked up two quick wickets. Kranthi Kumar and Shinde fall off successive balls as captain Hanuma Vihari walks out to the crease.

TN v Andhra: Andhra 58/0 after 11.1 overs:  50-run stand for Hebbar and Kumar. They are cruising through the chase as Tamil Nadu struggle to make a breakthrough.

Karnataka v Bihar: Bihar 13/3 after 6 overs: Bihar's 355-run chase has started on a poor note. Prasidh Krishna has picked up two wickets to topple the Bihar top-order.

Jharkhand v Punjab: Punjab 6/1 after 2 overs: OUT! Rahul Shukla sends back Punjab's in-form opener Prabhsimran. Early blow in the chase for Punjab as captain Mandeep Singh joins Abhishek Sharma.

Kerala v UP: 18/1 after 5 overs: OUT! Bhuvneshwar Kumar cleans up Vishnu Vinod! UP off to a good start. Vinod struggled to get going and departs scoring 7 off 21 balls. Sanju Samson joins Uthappa.

Kerala v UP: 7/0 after 1 over: Kerala opens the innings with Robin Uthappa and Vishnu Vinod. Uthappa hits a boundary off Bhuvneshwar Kumar who opens the attack for Kerala.

TN v Andhra: Andhra 10/0 after  1 over: Andhra openers Ashwin Hebbar and Kranti Kumar begin its 177-run chase. Sonu Yadav and debutant R Silambarasan open the attack for Tamil Nadu.

Karnataka v Bihar,  Karnataka 234/1 (39) - Karnataka is on a prowl. Skipper Samarth is into his 80s and nears a ton while new man Sidarth KV is steaming towards a quick fifty.

Jharkhand v Punjab: JHA 101/3 after 27 overs:OUT! Virat Singh is  sent back as Jharkhand loses three. Mayank Markade provides the breakthrough as rattles Virat's stumps.  Virat Singh b Markande 27 (45)


Karnataka v Bihar: KAR 153/1 after 29.3 overs: OUT! Padikkal misses out on a well-deserved 100. Rahul Kumar
spoils the party as he cleans up Padikkal's stumps for 97. The left-hander has put his side in a commendable position.    Padikkal b Rahul Kumar 97

TN v Andhra: TN 85/5 after 22.5 overs: OUT! Stephen has his third wicket! And it's the big fish Dinesh Karthik who fall cheaply. Tamil Nadu loses half its side as Aparajith is joined by Sonu Yadav.    Dinesh Karthik c Reddy b Stephen 7 (15)

Karnataka v Bihar: KAR 83/0 after 20 overs: Devdutt Padikkal brings up his 2nd fifty in two matches! A more positive start as opposed to the previous match and the knock has put the defending champion well on course.


TN v Andhra: TN 68/4 after 18 overs: OUT! Indrajith falls early. Stephen has another wicket.
Andhra is jolting the SMAT champion here and skipper Dinesh Karthik walks out to the crease with a job on his hands.  Indrajith c Bhui b Stephen 3 (10)

Kerala v UP: UP 70/0 after 16 overs: Excellent start from openers Goswami and Karan Sharma. The pair ended off the new ball attack of Sreesanth and Nidheesh and has taken the attack well to the spinners.

TN v Andhra: TN 63/3 after 15.3 overs: OUT! Sai Kishore is dismissed by Stephen. TN loses three. Sai Kishore has however, done his job of blunting the new ball. Brother Aparajith and Indrajith join at the crease.  Sai Kishore c Bhui b Stephen 29 (51)

Jharkhand v Punjab: JHA 32/2 after 10 overs: OUT! Sidharth Kaul snaps Jharkhand's second wicket. Ishan Kishan's early departure has put the team in deep trouble and now Kumar Kushagra follows him quickly.  Kushagra c Markande b Kaul 8 (26)


TN v Andhra: TN 23/2 after 6 overs: OUT!  Tamil Nadu loses its openers. Girinath Reddy picks his second

Kerala v UP: UP 24/0 after 5 overs: Sreesanth and MD Nidheesh are up with the ball for Kerala. Sreesanth has bowled a tight spell but UP openers Goswami and Karan Sharma are up for it.

Karnataka v Bihar: KAR 19/0 after 2 overs:  Skipper R Samarth and Devdutt Padikkal are off to a fine start. Karnataka is coming off a loss and would aim for a good total on the board.

TN v Andhra: TN 10/1 after 2 overs: OUT!  Hari Nishaanth has fallen early. Replacing Arun Karthick in the XI and the left-hander could not make much of his opportunity at the top as Girinath Reddy wraps him plumb on his pads. In a surprise move, Sai Kishore joins Jagadeesan at the crease. Hari Nishaanth  lbw Reddy 4 (7)
