  • Assam defended a modest of total of 207 with ease in the end and bundled Nagaland out for just 137.
  • Pondicherry completed a 10-wicket rout against Mizoram. The former cleaned up its opposition for just 67. The openers then took just 13.4 overs to chase the target down and help their team bag four points.
  • In a game that was reduced to 20 overs, skipper Manan Vohra led Chandigarh's charge in the first innings and with an unbeaten 64-ball 108, to help Chandigarh to 207 for two. In response, Arunachal Pradesh could only manage 117.
  • Saurashtra successfully defended 298 by restricting Andhra to 145/10.
  • Manish Pandey's 142 helped Karnataka cruise past Chhattisgarh with a 79-run victory.
  • This round of Vijay Hazare witnessed a thrilling end when Jharkhand pipped Kerala and bagged the contest by 5 runs on the final ball of the match.

In Bangalore, JHARKHAND BEATS KERALA in Elite Group A

Match reduced to 36 overs

Toss update: Jharkhand (258/5) bt Kerala (253/10) by 5 runs.

Kerala innings (target 259): JHARKHAND WINS A LAST-OVER THRILLER! SIX RUNS WAS REQUIRED OFF THE FINAL BALL OF THE MATCH AND THE ONUS WAS ON RAHUL P, WHO WAS NOT-OUT ON 36, TO FINISH THE MATCH IN STYLE. HOWEVER, ANUKUL ROY GOT THE BETTER OF THE BATSMAN, WHO WAS CAUGHT BY  RAHUL SHUKLA, AND HELPED HIS TEAM SECURE FOUR POINTS IN AN EXCITING ENCOUNTER.  Anukul Roy and Utkarsh Singh bagged eight of Kerala's wickets (four apiece) to bundle Kerala out for 253 runs.

Jharkhand innings: Jharkhand finishes with 258 for five in 36 overs. Kumar Deobrat top-scored with 54 with valuable contributions from Ishan Kishan (47), Saurabh Tiwary (49) and Anukul Roy (31). Sandeep Warrier was the pick of the bowlers for Kerala with figures of 7-0-38-3.

In Bangalore, KARNATAKA BEATS CHHATTISGARH in Elite Group A

FINAL SCORE: Karnataka (285/7) bt Chhattisgarh (206/10) by 79 runs.

Chhattisgarh innings (target 286): Amandeep Khare is caught by Koushik off Ronit More's bowling for 43 AND KARNATAKA WINS! Skipper Manish Pandey's unbeaten 142 takes was supported by a disciplined show with the bowl. M. Prasidh and Shreyas Gopal clinched three wickets each and that's four points for Karnataka.

Karnataka innings: Karnataka finishes with 285 for seven in 50 overs, captain Manish Pandey top-scoring with an unbeaten 142 off 118 balls. K.L. Rahul scored 81 opening the batting. Puneet Datey was the pick of the bowlers for Chhattisgarh with figures of 10-0-60-2.

In Bangalore, SAURASHTRA BEATS ANDHRA in Elite Group A

FINAL SCORE: Saurashtra (298/3) bt Andhra (145/10) by 153 runs.

Andhra innings (target 299): Saurashtra's skipper Jaydev Unadkat picks up K.V. Sasikanth for just four runs as Andhra is all-out for 145 runs in just 37.3 overs. Unadkat returns with figure of 3/18 in 5.3 overs. Karan Shinde was Andhra's best batsman today as he hit 76-ball 52. Sasikanth ct. Chirag Jani b. J. Unadkat.

Saurashtra innings: Saurashtra finishes with 298 for three in 50 overs. Samarth Vyas makes unbeaten 124, while Arpit Vasavada's 36-ball 63 helped the team finish the innings with a flourish. Vishvarajsinh Jadeja shared a 152-run stand for the third wicket with Samarth while scoring 82 himself.

In Dehradun, CHANDIGARH BEATS ARUNACHAL PRADESH in Plate Group

Match reduced to 20-overs-a-side

Toss update: Chandigarh (207/2) bt Arunachal Pradesh (117/7) by 90 runs.

Arunachal Pradesh innings: Rahul Dalal remains unbeaten on 76, but the the damage caused by the Chandigarh bowlers was always going to be too big to control. Gurinder Singh was the pick of the bowlers for Chandigarh as he finished with figures of 4/17 from his quota of four overs. 

Chandigarh innings: Manan Vohra makes an unbeaten 64-ball 108 to lead Chandigarh to 207 for two in 20 overs, with Shivam Bhambri smashing a 36-ball 68.

In Dehradun, PONDICHERRY BEATS MIZORAM in Plate Group

Toss update: Pondicherry (71/0) bt Mizoram (67/10) by 10 wickets

Pondicherry innings (target 68): Pondicherry openers get the job done in 13.2 overs to secure four points for the team. M. Viknesh and Paras Dogra finish unbeaten on 44 and 24 respectively.

Mizoram innings: Mizoram has been bowled out for 67, Taruwar Kohli top-scoring with 28. Captain D. Rohit (2.2-1-2-3) and R. Vinay Kumar (8-2-14-3) took three-fors while receiving great support from Sagar Trivedi (8-2-16-2) and Ashith (6-1-15-2).

In Dehradun, ASSAM BEATS NAGALAND in Plate Group

Final score: ASSAM (207/10) bt Nagaland (137/10) by 70 runs.

Nagaland innings (target 208): Nagaland is bowled out for 137 and that means Assam adds four important points to its tally. Pritam Das clean bowled Tahmeed and Nagaho for a duck in successive overs to clinch a five-wicket haul. He returns with the figures of 5/22 in 8.4 overs. Earlier in the day, Nagaho had also picked up a five-wicket haul but couldn't prevent Nagaland from suffering a defeat.

Assam innings: Assam is 207 all out in 47.4 overs! Nagaho takes five for 25 (7.4-1-25-5) for Nagaland to help bowl out the opposition, which had as many as five batsmen getting starts and getting out in their 20s and 30s.
