The Mumbai cricket team, which started its Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign with a 74-run win against Madhya Pradesh, will be bolstered by the presence of India U-19 World Cup winner Prithvi Shaw when it takes on Tamil Nadu at the Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering Ground here on Thursday.
A source close to the team confirmed the development to Sportstar on Tuesday morning.

Prithvi’s inclusion in the playing XI will not only tighten the squad, it may fill the stands owing to the current popularity of the colts.
The Mumbai Cricket Association announced the squad three days prior to the U-19 World Cup final in New Zealand.
The right-handed batsman looked in fine touch at the ICC tournament scoring two half-centuries — 94 and 57* — and a couple of crucial 40s up the order.
Apart from the World Cup, Prithvi also boasts of a terrific first-class record with five tons in nine games. In the 2017/18 Ranji Trophy season, he recorded his fifth hundred against Andhra, after two consecutive tons against Tamil Nadu and Odisha.

He also made his presence felt in Mumbai's 500th game scoring a fighting 56.
Prithvi will be expected to open the innings with Jay Bista in the limited-overs fixtures and the Mumbai think tank may have to take tough decisions up the order to create room for the little star.
