New Zealand captain Kane Williamson celebrates his century on day two of the second Test against Zimbabwe.

Kane Williamson hailed all of his bowling options after New Zealand wrapped up victory in the second Test with Zimbabwe early on day five.

The Black Caps completed a 254-run win on Wednesday with seven wickets for the loss of just 74 runs, part-time spinner Martin Guptill leading the way with 3-11.

All six of Williamson's bowlers took wickets in the second innings in Bulawayo as they sealed a 2-0 series win, and the skipper was full of praise for all his options.

"It was a great effort, we knew it was going to be tough to take 20 wickets on this surface, so credit to the bowlers," he said in the post-match presentation.

"All our squad are stepping up, it is causing a few selection problems but that is a good problem to have." Zimbabwe skipper Graeme Cremer was understandably less upbeat after watching his side crumble on the final day of the series.

However, he was able to find some positives and hoped the squad can arrange more Tests to help improve their performances in the longest format. "We got used to their seamers I suppose," he said when asked why they had struggled against spin.

"We showed fight. Credit to the guys, I couldn't ask for anything more. "We knew it was going to be hard to get wickets, so credit to New Zealand for taking 20 wickets.

"Any cricket for us is really appreciated, we need to be playing more to be more competitive. Hopefully we can get in some cricket before the Sri Lanka series in October."
